Incoming ALERT! A Ménage Made on Madison is COMING SOON!

Menage Material Teaser 1 copy

Hey Guys,

How are you all doing? The last time I blogged, my book, Ménage Material, was newly released, Christmas was approaching, and all the excitement of the Holidays was still upon us. *sighs* I never know if it’s a good or a bad thing when all the craziness is over. All we have to look forward to is the promise of Easter, and the warmth of Summer… or… there’s something else to look forward to now, as my third book has just been accepted by Siren Publishing!! I’m so thrilled to be able to share this news with you all, as I haven’t even shared it on FB yet!! I know, I know, very naughty, but I’m really psyched to blab the news now.

A Ménage Made on Madison is part one of a new series called, The Federation, and has a tentative release date of early March. This Sci-Fi erotic romance is sure to get your panties in a twist!

Here’s the blurb:

For the last sixty years, Parker and Knox Baxx have been in love. Regardless of their cross-mating, she an Earthling and he a Shuzon, they’ve managed to create a successful partnership. In both the bedroom, and the boardroom.

Rich beyond their wildest dreams from the hotel resort they’ve constructed from scratch on the outskirts of Federation territory, there’s only one problem. Shuzons are part of a twin pair, and they share their mates. Without Rafer, Knox’s brother, Parker’s Earthling sensibilities are going haywire. Her body is experiencing a complete system shutdown, and she has only the one option open to her—to bind herself to Rafer.

The trouble is, he’s a high-ranking officer in the Fleet, the Federation’s armed wing, which ransacked and destroyed Earth. Secondly, he has enemies of his own. Thirdly, she doesn’t trust him.

Loving and being loved by Knox is no longer enough. Can Parker learn to trust Rafer with her heart, body, and wellbeing before it’s too late?

As soon as I receive the cover, I’ll be glad to share it with you all!

Happy Hump Day!

Loving Dangerously, Book Three

Jess hates aliens. After the invasion that destroyed Earth, the extraterrestrial bastards sold her to a brothel as a sex slave. She may have escaped but the old memories and fears still linger in the dark corners of her mind. Supposedly Sonis is just the place for her—somewhere safe, where she can heal and start fresh. She’s almost hopeful…until she meets Rasha, her new boss.

Rasha, Captain of the Sonis Royal Guard, is a warrior through and through. He’s huge, sinfully sexy and could have any woman on Sonis—but the woman he wants is Jess. He’s very much an alien and Jess knows she should hate him or at least be wary, but whenever he’s around, she loses control. She tells herself it’s only sex—amazing, mind-blowing sex like nothing else she’s ever experienced—but there’s something about Rasha that shakes her soul. The feel of his skin against hers, the look in his eyes as he touches her—they make her want to believe it’s possible to find love and begin again.

A Romantica® science fiction erotic romance from Ellora’s Cave

Excerpt:

Taken: Year Five

Jess stepped off the transporter and right into the bustle of alien activity around her.

What kind of fresh holy hell did I come to?

Alien races, some of which she recognized, others she didn’t, streamed up and down the walkways, coming and going. Transporters of various sizes occupied every available space of the four long rows of docking stations. She and JB had waited half the day just to get a spot in line for landing. From what she could see, the Sonis palace had a slew of visitors.

She could have easily retreated back into the confines of secured safety. But to do so would be an open admission of fear and weakness. She was neither. The days of being scared of every alien who came her way were long over.

Jess took a long breath, filling her lungs with so much air that her chest puffed out. It burned as she held it there while a group of Zarcarians, blue aliens with small, seemingly vacant slits for eyes, meandered by her, deep in conversation. Their white hair was cropped just above where their ears should have been. Silver robes covered their tall, lanky frames and brushed the ground as they walked.

Although she couldn’t make out the hushed whispers that came from mouths that were devoid of lips, she still stood ridged, prepared to fight if needed. She didn’t relax even after they finally moved past her and away.

Stay calm. Deep breaths. In, out, in, out.

JB rustled from behind her at the transporter’s door. She didn’t startle as he held onto her waist and pushed her gently to the right, out of his way. He exited and stood by her side. Unlike her, concern and apprehension didn’t show on his face as he raised his arms in the air and stretched. Standing six-feet-two, he was only two inches taller than her.

“Whew, sweet Jesus. Look at all these people.”

“They’re not people.” She scanned the transport bay. “They’re aliens and…things.” She cringed as she caught a pair of Rasdons emerging from a transporter.

Their species resembled a snarling dog. They were taller than her and JB with black, coarse hair covering most of their body. Long snouts sat just above yellow fangs that hung out of their mouths. Their beastly black eyes darted from side to side, taking in everything around them.

Their sexual tastes…ran to the obscene. She’d been the subject of their affection at the brothel more times than she could remember. To her, next to the Loconuist, Rasdons were what nightmares were made of.

One of the Rasdons turned her way and ran a tongue over the tips of his fangs. At her hiss, JB followed her gaze. He straightened, prepared for a confrontation. “You know them?”

She shook her head. “No.” She didn’t need to know them. She knew of them and it was all the same.

“Don’t pay them any mind then,” JB said, relaxing.

Right. Ignore the dogs.

“What about them?” Jess nodded in the direction of two males golden in appearance and with more muscles that should be allowed on aliens. Each towered above eight-feet tall. “They’ll be too hard to ignore.”

The tribal tattoos covering one side of their faces, necks and exposed torsos indicated they were members of the Sonis Royal Guards. The jangos strapped to their backs and blasters clipped to their black indicated they were dangerous. Their pants were so tight that every muscle was visible in their legs as they walked.

She grabbed a hold of her own blaster that she kept strapped tightly to her thigh. Her heart sped up. The erratic beat sent blood rushing through her veins, drowning out the other sounds of the room. Against her will, she took a step back, almost falling into the transporter.

JB gripped her arm firmly, stabilizing her. “Whoa, take it easy. They’re not coming this way. You’re safe.”

She closed her eyes and took the breath that had begun to burn in her chest.

Safe.

She shook off his arm. Nothing against JB, but everyone would have seen her stumble back. They didn’t need to see her requiring help as well. “Give me a sec.”

She stood in place and listened as the commotion continued around her. Nearby, there was an argument regarding decorations and a conversation about the royal transporter. There wasn’t talk about slaves, brothels or whores.

Sonis was supposed to be her new home. She couldn’t panic out every time she came near aliens, especially royal guards. Hell, Sonis was littered with them. While Laconia was mainly a native inhabited planet, there were ten royal guards, including Sa’Mya’s head guard, Jor’Dan who lived there. Jess stayed away from the Neanderthals at all costs.

Her main goal had been to avoid as many aliens as possible. Even while working on The Vengeance II, she chose not to leave the vessel when they docked on alien worlds. Here, it looked as though it was a freakin’ alien United Nations. She had to get herself together and quickly. Otherwise she wouldn’t last out the week and going back to Laconia was not an option right now.

She opened her eyes on the next breath. “Okay, I’m ready.”

JB slapped her hard on the back, knocking her off balance. She found her footing and cut her eyes at him as he bit back a laugh.

He shrugged nonchalantly. “See? Nothing to worry about. They probably thought you were a guy anyway.” He ran a playful hand across her short, spiky hair as she tried to duck out of his way. “But I guess you’re still going for that look, huh?”

He of course was referring to her days as a runaway slave. The Loconuist had sold her to a brothel. In order to escape, she had cut off her curly locks and donned male clothing. Her height, chopped hair and the dirt she smeared across her face had gotten her waved through security. Once free, she hid on the first vessel she could break into, The Vengeance.

That vessel happened to belong to a crew of wanted human pirates—JB, Ryan, Kyle, Eli and their captain Kane. She thanked God every night for guiding her to the five men who would become her only family. But right now, her closest friend was getting on her nerves and was one breath away from getting gut-punched.

She snarled and pushed JB’s hand out of the way. He chuckled. His boyish dimples were set deep in his cheeks. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

It didn’t matter that he teased her about her appearance. Hell, everyone did. She wasn’t dainty like other women, nor did she want to be. The only reason she had survived what she’d been through was because she was unbreakable. She had to be. There was no other choice.

She straightened her shoulders. “When aliens look at me, I want them to see someone strong.”

“Well if you ask me, the look you’re projecting is…” He scanned her from top to bottom. “Penis repellant.”

She narrowed her eyes and took a step closer to him so only he could hear her words. “Don’t make me fuck you up right here in the transport bay,” she threatened.

JB feigned surprise by opening his eyes wide and inhaling sharply. Exaggerating his efforts, he placed a hand on his chest. “Really, Jess? You’re going to pick a fight with me and on your first day on Sonis? Tsk, you’ll never keep a job at this rate.”

“Whatever,” she mumbled. “Stop fucking with me.” She scanned the area again. “I want to make a good impression.”

JB quirked a brow. “Let me get this straight. You are worried about a good first impression?”

Jess frowned. “Of course.”

“Since when?” he asked in disbelief.

She cocked her head in thought. She was stealing from Kane when she first met him. She had threatened to kill the guys when she first met them. She tried to strangle Sa’Mya when she met her… Oh yeah, she hadn’t been worried about making a good first impression in a while.

JB laughed. “C’mon, let’s get going.”

She shook her head. “No, Eva said she would meet us here.”

Jess adjusted the knapsack on her back and held the other tight in her hand. All her belongs could fit into two small bags. A far cry from the condo filled with high-end clothes and shoes she had back on Earth.

JB looked around the large docking area again. “I don’t see her here.”

She shifted from one booted foot to the other. “Yeah, but—”

JB swung his medium-sized duffle bag over his shoulder. “I’m going exploring. She’ll find us when she’s ready for us.” Without waiting for her response, he set out.

She had two choices. She could stay in the transport bay by herself or she could leave with JB.

He took two more long strides away from her before she rushed to his side.

She grunted under her breath as she stepped in time with him, just as he expected her to.

Asshole.

She followed as he led the way through the exit. She made certain not to brush against any of the aliens they passed. “What if we get lost?”

He turned, only to give her a wink. His blue eyes were alive with mischief. She figured that was the reason many females swooned around him, human and alien. “Then Eva will send someone to find us.”

She couldn’t help but grunt. JB didn’t give a damn about anything. She would’ve thought being abducted from Earth, sold as a slave to a mining colony and then spending a year on the run would have been enough to sober anyone’s attitude, but not his. If she didn’t know any better, she would think he didn’t have a care in the world. That’s if she didn’t know better. But as with the rest of their small band of misfits, JB had lost family and loved ones as well.

“What’s the plan now?” she asked when they reached a large communal area.

JB scanned the room of females and whistled low. “Trouble. The plan is to get into as much trouble as humanly possible.”

#Contest – #Giveaway : Names, Names and More Names!

Names, Names and More Names!

Have you ever wondered how sci-fi authors come up with names for planets, species, people, animals, food or objects? Well, if they’re like me they make them up or “play” on words that are used in everyday common language or even read the credits of a movie or sitcom to nab an unusual last name. Sometimes, for specific characters I will take the name of a loved one and spell it backward.

Who am I kidding? I also type random words and see if anything “sticks.” LOL

But going into Dangerously His, book #4 of my sci-fi space opera series Loving Dangerously, I was stuck at naming two planets and a species. That’s when I was struck with awesomeness (it strikes slow and not often enough).
Why not hold a contest and let the readers help me with naming?

Pure awesomeness…
But this contest isn’t open to just everybody (oh poo). I have a small but awesome (I guess that’s the word for the day) group of folks that ‘like’ my FaceBook page. Every other month I like to thank them for their support. But hey! Like my FaceBook page and you too can join in on all the fun!
Author A. M. Griffin FaceBook page
Here are the contest directions:
Step one: Like my FaceBook page (see link above)
Step two: After liking my page, scroll through my posts to find the one titled, “Just because you like me…”
Step three: The link in that post will take you to a super-secret page on my website where you can find the directions, descriptions of the planets and species and the entry form.

Planet #1: This planet makes its debut in Dangerously His (Book #4 in the Loving Dangerously Series) and is featured in Dangerously Forever (Book #5 in the Loving Dangerously Series). This is the planet where Kiehle Xochis, brother of Taio Xochis has a private home.

Planet #2: This planet makes a debut in Dangerously His (Book #4 in the Loving Dangerously Series). This is where JB and Saia Xochis vacation and have their HEA.
Species: This is a new fun-loving species that lives on planet #2. They may be featured in other books, but for now they are making their debut in Dangerously His.

Step four: Use your super-duper smarts and creativity to come up with names, fill out the form and submit your ideas!
The contest runs from August 1st – August 15th. Roughly a week after the contest closes I’ll post who the winners are.
The winners will get their submitted planet and species names added to the new books. The winners will also receive a free ecopy of the books when it is released!

Like I said…awesome

Good luck and thanks for playing along!

P.S.
I’m having a blog hop party to celebrate the third release Dangerously Hers. If you’re an author, reader and blogger and want to join in on the fun I’d love to have you participate!

The steamy standalone sequel to Dangerously Mine.

Kane Epps divides his life into two distinct parts—before the alien invasion and after. Before the invasion, he had a pregnant wife and a high-powered job. After the invasion, he’s left with only himself and his hatred for all things alien. He channels his bitterness by captaining a vessel of renegade humans—space pirates who don’t think twice about taking what they need.

Princess Sa’Mya is on the run. She and a few trusted advisers fled her home planet, only to be captured by the sexy, dangerous Captain Epps. He claims to hate aliens but can’t seem to resist touching her or kissing her…everywhere. As Kane introduces Sa’Mya to ever-increasing, unimaginable realms of pleasure, the princess becomes determined to earn his trust. She’s used to getting what she wants. And this time, what she wants is Kane Epps.
Inside Scoop: This space-opera romance contains male/male sex scenes, girl-on-girl action, group sex and some good old-fashioned voyeurism.

 Excerpt:

“What are we going to do with them?”

“Kill them.”

Justin Blake, or JB, didn’t react. Kane hadn’t expected him too. They had been through too much for JB to ever be surprised at what came out of his mouth. JB continued to follow him through the dimly lit empty corridor to his cabin. JB’s long strides met his own. Their boots hit in hard clunks on the metal floor.

Kane raked a gaze toward JB, who stared ahead, ignoring his retort with a look of sarcastic annoyance on his face.

“What? Why are you looking that way?” Kane snapped. He didn’t want to play any games. The argument he just had with Jess already put him in a piss-ass mood.

As the door to his cabin opened, the lights illuminated the room and cold air smacked him dead in his face. Entering, he bit back the urge to cuss. It was that fuckin’ cold.

JB leaned lazily against the doorframe. “I’m not looking any kind of way,” JB drawled.

JB’s southern good looks made most girls swoon back on Earth. While everyone else’s skin color, besides Ryan’s, had long since turned pasty and white, the twenty-nine-year-old’s days as a construction worker had gifted JB with a never-ending tan. JB’s black hair hung in unruly curls over his blue eyes.

Kane broke eye contact with his longtime friend. If JB wanted a staring contest he wouldn’t find one tonight.

Kane crossed his spacious captain’s cabin to the bed and kicked off his worn leather boots. He wanted to hit the sack. The negotiations with the aliens on Xenaris had worn him out.

He hated dealing with them. The Xenarians haggled over every single item. But since theirs was the only planet who took the goods he and his crew of six “acquired” without asking too many questions, he had no choice. The Xenarians also didn’t have a problem with trading. The universal credit system everyone else used didn’t apply to him and the crew. To have credit, you had to have a history, background and freedom. All the things runaway slaves lacked.

Kane grasped the bottom of his shirt but stopped short. “What? Are you going to watch me undress? Have you been without a woman for that long?”

JB’s mouth turned up in a smirk. “In your dreams, Captain.”

“Then for the love of God, tell me why you’re staring at me.”

“Waiting for your orders to change, is all.”

Kane didn’t find anything wrong with his orders. As far he was concerned, JB should have left his cabin and fired his blaster into some alien brains. Besides, humans faced worse fates than death every day.

Living.

Why should he care about a few aliens? None of them had used their high technology to save Earth. None of them had come to help fight against the Loconuist invasion. None of them had come to the humans’ defense when they were being sold into slavery all over the universe.

Fuck ‘em all.

Kane’s gaze darted from JB to the bathroom.

JB crossed through his cabin and pulled up a chair. “Go ahead, I’ll wait.”

Kane nodded and went to the bathroom without a backward glance. He’d almost run to his cabin to do this one thing.

Only after the door closed behind him did Kane have the urge to grip the sides of the bathroom sink for support. Sweat coated his palms, causing his grip to  slip from the fine metal. He gripped tighter.

In the mirror he barely recognized the man staring back at him. His green eyes seemed darker…harder. Instead of high-end suits, he now wore leather outfits and galactic travel skin-suits. Once a week he shaved his hair into a mohawk. A far stretch from his days of upscale barber salons.

He closed his eyes as the memory of Anna caressed his thoughts.

She smoothed both sides of his hair back with her hands. “I always wanted to see you with a mohawk,” Anna had said. She snarled her upper lip. “You’ll have a Billy Idol look going on.”

“I’ll tell you what,” he had replied. “When we get out of this mess, I’ll go punk rock for you.”

Of course the “mess” had been the alien invasion. He planned to wear his hair this way until the day he died.

He opened his eyes and focused ahead to begin his nightly mantra.

My name is Kane Epps. I am from New York. I am the son of Margarine and William Epps. Mia and Myles are my sister and brother. Anna is my wife. I am from Earth. I am human.

Every night for the past year he had chanted this in his head. Trying to hold onto something he felt slipping away—himself.

Although he was close to everyone, only JB knew of his nightly ritual. As Kane left the bathroom, he pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it to the side. JB lingered, using the sharp tip of a knife to clean his nails. Kane ignored him as he worked the ties down his pants. If JB wanted to stay and watch him undress, then fine. Kane was tired.

“Sooo…about these aliens,” JB said.

“What do you expect me do with them? If we let them go they’ll probably report our position to the fuckin’ Galactic Council.” Kane stepped out of his pants and left them crumpled at his feet. The cold air bit into his bare-naked ass as he crawled into bed. “Some casualties can’t be avoided.” He rubbed his legs together as the heating blanket worked its magic.

Heat was hard to control in a vessel the size of a small city. Especially since three-fourths of the power had been cut off and diverted to the engines. Kyle, the forty-year-old former electrical engineer, had an idea that worked out beautifully. So far, their vessel named The Vengeance, could outrun any other vessel it came up against. This came in handy since they were currently being pursued by the Galactic Council.

Finally feeling the heat surround him, Kane started to relax. Unfortunately, JB hadn’t budged. JB was stubborn as a horse. Born and raised in Alabama, he still had many of his southern characteristics. The southern drawl and the easygoing temperament were just a few. JB could out wait him any day of the week.

“I think they may be important,” JB said nonchalantly, flicking the knife closed. “Ryan heard the guard call one of the females ‘Princess’.”

Hot damn.

That sparked Kane’s interest. Business had been drying up. In the beginning, it had been almost too easy to seize vessels and steal their goods. Apparently these aliens were trusting and had never encountered pirates before. Now, after a year in the same business, they were wanted men. The Galactic Council had increased their patrols and other vessels had become much wiser.

“Why didn’t you tell me? We can ransom them back to their home planet. Where are they from?”

“Ryan didn’t catch that. We’re working on it.”

Ryan, the pilot and his second in command, was the only crew member with one of those fancy Universal Translators in his brain. Their former owners, the Galontaers, had implanted the translator. They had also taught Ryan how to pilot the vessel in order to help transport the metals from the mines. As for Kane and the other slaves? The Galontaers had thought they wouldn’t live long enough to justify the expense of translators. The only thing the slaves had to do was follow simple commands or get the whip.

“How many captives do we have?” Kane pulled the cover up to his neck and snuggled into the soft mattress.

“Four.”

“Hmm…are there any security issues?”

If they were indeed royalty, it meant there had to be at least two or three royal guards. From past experience, royal guards were nothing but a pain in the ass.

“One guard. We had to damn near kill him. He was a hard son of a bitch to control. He took enough tranquilizers to kill a horse.” JB shook his head in disbelief. “We got him though. He’s locked down tight. We put him in one of the secured cabins. I suspect he won’t wake up for a couple days.”

Kane nodded his approval. One guard? The royals must not be too important. “Keep them all secured for now. We can decide in the morning if they’re even worth keeping.”

Or if I have to empty my blaster in them.

Kane yawned and rolled over. He closed his tired, red eyes. When the familiar swoosh of his door opening and closing didn’t happen, he cursed. “Now what is it?”

“There are three women.”

He waited for JB to continue. “And…?”

“We haven’t docked for a couple months. Everyone’s a little restless.”

True. Xenarians were famous slave traders. No one from the crew ever got off the vessel while docked on their planet. Kane wouldn’t put it past those underhanded bastards to “mistakenly” sell one of the crew in Xenaris’ open slave market.

Kane didn’t turn or open his eyes. The lack of sleep made his head heavy on the soft pillow.

If they are willing, you can have the females. Play nice and share,” Kane said, his words muffled by the pillow. “Don’t harm them, we need them alive and able to walk when we ransom them.”

“We probably shouldn’t touch the princess until we find out how valuable she is.”

If she was traveling with just one guard, she probably wasn’t worth her weight in gold. “Whatever. I’m giving you responsibility over their safety. Keep them unharmed,” Kane said, already half-asleep.

“Yes, Captain.”

Finally, there was the familiar swoosh of the door. “You’re welcome!” he yelled. The guys were getting Christmas early this year.

Space pirates.

In all of his thirty-five years, he would’ve never guessed his new profession. Ha! He’d graduated from Harvard Law School and had a secured partnership in one of the largest firms in New York City, for Christ’s sake.

What would Anna have said about his new career? What would she think of him now? Of the man he’d become? His Anna…

* * * * *

Anna’s warm body curled against his arm and torso. Her smooth legs were flung haphazardly over his. Her knee brushed lightly on his cock. Even in sleep she could cause him to have an erection. He inhaled deeply. The scent of her skin filled his nostrils—flowers and…something else. He couldn’t place it and didn’t try. Her favorite scented bath soap and lotion changed with each passing day.

“Umm,” he moaned.

While many of his friends complained about the loss of attraction they felt for their wives, his for Anna grew stronger with each passing day. He pulled her closer and began to stroke her shapely leg. She stiffened but the next second she relaxed.

“Do you have to get up early?” he asked, his voice thick and heavy. As a Kindergarten teacher, she sometimes left hours before the start of school to prepare for class.

No answer. Instead, music played softly in the background. “Mmm, what is that song on the radio?” he whispered.

Anna snuggled closer. She spoke in whispers he couldn’t understand. Her words seemed muffled by the pillow. He smiled at that thought. She could keep her face in the pillow…and her ass in the air.

Music played again. Anna’s warm breath tickled his ear. His cock twitched on his abdomen. Her fingers ran lazily across his chest, playing with the tussle of hairs spread there. She stopped to pluck his nipple.

His cock throbbed in response to her touch. Groaning, he grabbed her hand and led it to his shaft. Anna moaned deep in her throat. He wrapped her delicate palm around it, encouraging her to stroke it.

“Mm,” she moaned.

His cock jerked in her grasp. She stopped.

“No, don’t stop,” he pleaded.

Anna’s hand encased him again, stroking faster. His pre-cum began to coat his slit. She stopped to run her finger across it and scoop it up. The licking coming from her lips made him want to explode on the spot.

Music played again. She fisted him, stroking up and down. She stopped only to taste the fruits of her labor. Damn, if he let her continue he would end up spilling his seed on the sheets.

Kane rolled to his stomach and pinned her beneath him. He nestled between her legs, where his bare chest rubbed against silk. He began to trail kisses along her slender neck to her breasts.

He reached under to palm her plump, round ass. Digging his fingers in her soft flesh, he squeezed, pressing his cock on her slick valley. Her sticky wetness coated him as he rubbed his hard length across her folds. The sensitive ridge of his cock brushed her opening with each passing.

Her hips rotated and moved in time with him. One hand cradled his head while the other grabbed his ass. He planted light kisses around the swell of her breast. Her breasts were larger than normal, voluptuous even. Pregnancy was treating her body good, plumping her up in all the right places. She held onto the back of his head and fed him her erect nipple.

Mm, aggressive.

Anna had never been the aggressor in bed. “I like this side of you,” he groaned.

Obliging, he latched onto the nipple that brushed his lips. She squirmed and moaned under him. Within moments her legs were wrapped around his waist. His lips tweaked and tugged the bud, teasing it.

He flicked his tongue over her erect tip before blowing cool air over it. She raked her fingernails through his hair, urging him on. He took care to suck, squeeze and nibble until she bucked beneath him.

She arched her hips, grinding on his hard shaft. Her slick juice was proof she was ready to receive all nine inches of him. He couldn’t resist the heat radiating from her valley any longer. He planned to bury his dick balls-deep in her tight sheath and make her scream out tonight. The neighbors could give them funny looks in the morning, he didn’t care.

He trailed a hand over her flat abdomen.

Flat abdomen?

Shaking off the fleeting alarm, he continued to her folds—hairless folds.

Since when did Anna get Brazilian waxes?

Kane shrugged it off and let his fingers slip farther to part her plump lips.

What the fuck? Where did her clit go?

* * * * *

Kane woke with a start.

“Lights on.” Staring up to him were wide-eyed, gold-speckled alien eyes.

Who the fuck is this?

She spoke softly. A lyrical tone caressed his ears with words he couldn’t understand.

The music.

“What the…?” His breath caught in his throat. The words hung heavy in the air. “You’re not Anna,” he whispered.

Smack. The sting of her palm across his cheek crashed him back to reality.
