The Naughty Nookie series began with an earnest desire to understand how a ménage relationship could begin.
I’m a fan of realism in my books, and while many might say that a ménage relationship is a fantasy, I don’t think that’s the truth. I think as we become ever more liberated within the tight confines of our society, these little forays do happen, and MONA explores one of the reasons this might occur.
Adultery is a hard limit for a lot of folk, and I’m one of them! But at the same time, isn’t it an everyday occurrence? Sadly enough, adultery is very much a part of life. This vein might be painful for some, but I think it should be dealt with in books. How many readers have to deal with it in real life? Reading is escapism, but at the same time, reality has to be threaded into a tale.
Mona, Zane, and Jake don’t have the best of starts, but that doesn’t mean to say they can’t earn a HEA of their own. Even if it’s unorthodox, does it really matter so long as love is the binding factor keeping them together?
Fingers crossed, if you take a chance, then you’ll dive into this series and love it too.
Thanks for reading! 🙂
Simone Barranquet is in a rut. In fact, her life is one huge rut. Until she falls into the arms of Zane Matthews (The Zane Matthews!) and unwittingly finds herself.
But even then, life can’t hand Mona a candy bar. There’s always something bittersweet to spoil her happiness and in this instance, it’s Zane’s husband.
Can Mona wade through the fallout to find her own Happy Ever After? Or is she destined to lead a Zane-free and love-free life?
If she can grab the bull by the balls, then maybe, just maybe she can.
But does she have enough cojones of her own to do just that?
