I’m excited to announce that my third spanking romance with Blushing Books will be released on May 18th. This one is not part of my Norian Masters world, but a stand alone romance with a lake cottage setting perfect for curling up with on a lazy afternoon. And getting you in the mood for a hot summer night.
Ethan and Hayley were summer lovers until the year Ethan didn’t come back to the lake. Now, after a health scare, the workaholic CEO has returned for the weekend, under orders to relax. He thought the trip was going to be a waste of time until he sees Hayley again. He soon realizes she’s what’s been missing from his life.
Hayley never stopped loving Ethan. They pick up where they left off, kissing, bantering and enjoying fun spankings that lead to hot sex. But he’s a city boy and she’d never leave her cottage by the lake. Ethan has a plan that might give them both what they want – or break them up forever.
Here’s a little excerpt to tease you:
Still clutching the handle of his laptop case, he looked out the bank of floor to ceiling windows that faced Barden Lake. The setting sun threw ripples of red and gold across the water. He loosened his tie, unbuttoned his top button, and without thinking, crossed the room and stepped through the French doors. The sky was on fire. He’d forgotten how beautiful the sunsets were here.
This secluded cove was unique, at least for Barden Lake. Dozens of cottages ringed the lakeshore, but except for the ones directly across the wide lake, only this cottage and the one next door were visible from here.
Our own little private cove. A musical voice he hadn’t heard in years whispered in his ear with the memory.
He was so engrossed in the setting sun, it was a moment before he noticed the movement off to the side in the water. With the sun low and behind her, all he could make out was a woman’s silhouette rising from the lake.
The water shimmered around her and each step revealed more of her breathtaking body. Water cascaded over her shoulders and down her chest. Her full breasts bounced with each step and he sucked in his breath when he caught a glimpse of her nipples. Her waist dipped in above nicely rounded hips, leading to long, trim legs. His eyes zeroed in on the wet curls at the juncture of her thighs and all his blood shot south.
Her body glistened as the drops of water on her skin picked up the remaining rays of the sun. He could tell the exact moment she noticed him standing there, staring at her like a voyeur. She stumbled a little as she stepped out of the lake onto the grassy shore, but she didn’t screech or call out to him or dive for cover behind the lone maple tree that marked the boundary between the two properties. Instead, she lifted her chin and sauntered slowly over to the large towel lying at the base of the tree.
He barely caught a glimpse of her face, but a memory of soft red hair with gold highlights, sparkling green eyes and a wide, sassy smile slapped into his brain. Could it be…?
His heart raced. Of course, it was. It couldn’t be anyone else. Hadn’t some part of him hoped he’d still find her here?
Ethan’s mouth watered as she slowly bent down to pick up the towel. Did she purposely turn so her tempting ass faced him? Was she teasing him? Or mooning him? Or begging for the slap of his hand? Whichever, he was now hard and hurting as he continued to watch her. There was no way in hell he could turn away now.
She didn’t bother drying herself off as she straightened and wrapped the large beach towel around her body. A ridiculous sigh of disappointment escaped his lips when she was covered. Her long wet hair flowed down her back like a waterfall and he wanted to run his fingers through it.
Then she turned to face him and the memories washed over him like that waterfall. Five years later, he still remembered her perfectly. Remembered every single sensation. Every cry of passion and need. Every touch and lick, every suck and slap of flesh against flesh.
His mouth might have been watering only a moment ago, but as she crossed the lawn and climbed the steps to join him on the deck, his throat was so dry he couldn’t say a word. Water continued to stream from her hair and skin. The towel caught some of it, but water soon pooled on the floor at her feet. The sun had almost met the horizon and Ethan wished he could see if the green of her eyes was still as deep as he remembered.
“You’re early.” She sounded more than a little annoyed. Was it really just because he was early? Or that he’d showed up here at all?
“Hello, Hayley.” He fought a smile and kept his voice level. “You’re looking good.”
When I get the cover and official blurb, I’ll be sure to share them with you. In the meantime, mark your calendar for May 18th, or like my FB page. https://www.facebook.com/annalundauthor/ to get more information.
