BDSM: The Truth v.s. Fiction, or does it even matter?

Catchy enough title, eh?

So, here’s the thing; I’m an erotic romance and erotica fan. As an avid reader, I look for plots that aren’t stale, covers that make me gawk, and over course hero’s that totally rock my world. But often I’m reminded of how fake some of these fictional situations are. Or, are they really fake? How does one really know.

Personally, I don’t give a rats @ss whether the situations are real or not. If it’s hot, and the reader is left wet, frustrated, and ready to go, why should it matter.

I have friends in the lifestyle, and as it stands what goes in one club, might be a faux pas in another. While there’s similar ground to all, I think it’s a matter of finding what works for you.

I try not to over analyze the reality of a book. I happen to think that sometimes authors/publishers stress too much on “It isn’t real?”, “Don’t expect your book to sell like FSoG”, or “The scenarios are unrealistic!”.  Porn is fake, and guess what, it still sells, and at a ridiculous rate.

Before I go, I recently received a reviewers copy for author Ann Mayburn’s Ivan’s Captive Submissive. If you’re looking for a new BDSM novel to read, you’ll need to add this book to your list when it releases in November. Check out my review here:, and if you subscribe to Hawt Reads & Dirty Talks blog, you’ll be in the loop of more recommended reads

Do you think about these things? Or, do you completely leave it to your imagination.

New Beginnings and Old Friends

New Beginnings can be anything from a new job to a new relationship. I still can’t make the announcement because everything isn’t official official yet, but there are new beginnings in my life.

And while I’m embarking on new beginnings you can embrace some old friends. Remember Leo and Symmone Shepard from The Pick-Up Wife. Those two needed a new beginning in the worst way. Here’s a gander at the blurb and exccerpt.

Leo Shepard has few regrets, but leaving his wife Symmone to pursue his career was a catastrophic mistake. Now that he’s achieved his every dream and is about to make partner at Greene and Banks Architects, he lacks one thing, a wife. But Leo doesn’t want just any wife, he wants the woman he left behind.

From the moment she laid eyes on Leo, Symmone knew she would have her happily ever after. The last thing she expected was a divorce and a broken heart. Devastated by the end of her marriage, she has no choice but to quit school and pick up the pieces of her life.

Working two jobs to support herself and her children, Symmone has little room in her life for romance and even less for her pulsating attraction to her ex-husband. When Leo strolls into the cafe where she works, bent on reconciliation, the chemistry between them is more powerful than ever. Yet she won’t give in to his soft words and expensive gifts. More than just her heart is at stake, her children are, as well.

Her footsteps slowed as she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the windowpane. She paused long enough to straighten her dark ponytail. With a huff of disgust she dropped her hand from her ebony tresses and shook her head. She couldn’t believe she was primping for her ex. Primping!

She set the glass on the table with a thump. He looked up with a tentative smile, and she was lost. She opened her mouth to speak and not a single word came out. God, he was even more handsome than the last time she’d seen him. Gone was the youthful softness of his face. Now he had a man’s face, a jaw that spoke of strength and maturity. His brown eyes, while bright and intelligent, seemed to hold a tinge of sadness, but what drew her attention most was his mouth. How many hours had she fantasized about the taste and shape of his mouth, about the firm press of his lips against hers or the butterfly kisses he used to flutter over her skin.

His smile widened. “You’re speechless.”

The warm rasp of his rich baritone danced over her, opening wounds she thought long since healed and igniting a desire she’d hoped long dead. He couldn’t come in here, to her place of employment, and upset everything she’d ever worked for with just two words.

Everything came back in an aching, throbbing fireball, and she clenched her hands at her sides.

“What do you want?” She didn’t bother to hide the annoyance or anger in her voice.

He blinked, and his smile drooped a bit, but he managed to maintain it. “I came to see you.”

“You haven’t given a damn about me in ten years. What’s so special about now? Are you dying? Or have you come to assuage some misplaced sense of guilt? Either way, the café has very good takeout I believe you would enjoy.”

He chuckled, and it produced an ache in areas she didn’t want to acknowledge. “I suppose I deserve that, but you’re wrong, Symmone. I’ve never stopped thinking about you.” His quiet admission stayed her irritation. “And I was wrong to do what I did.”

Until next time, Indulge Your Inner Romantic

New to 69 Shades of Smut @AnitaPhilmar

Hi everyone,

I’m so excited to be a part of this group. There are some amazing erotic authors here with some awesome hot stories.

To tell you a little about me, I have been writing erotic for a number of years and have a wide variety of stories avail

able. I basically started with fantasy in the Black Dragon series, then move to shapeshifters, play around with a few story stories. Enchanted with the my roots, I gravitated to western and have settle for the moment on hot, historical western.

I just started a new series called Naked Bluff, Texas. The first book “In Deep Water” came out a few months ago.
Still, I’d like to introduce you to my work with a free read.

Hot Prairie Nights  is a short read that takes place in Kansas during the 1800’s.

Here’s the Blurb

It’s a hard life living on the western plains. Elizabeth
Murphy knows she lives it every day.
Then just like some medieval knight in shining armor, a
stranger arrives at her door. He claims to be a friend, who is down on his luck
and looking for work.
Just looking at him sets her body on fire, and with them
sharing a small log cabin, the nights are bound to heat up. Can she resist the
chance to take a ride with the cowboy? Or should she trust him at all?
After all, he thinks wearing a shirt is an optional item and
he knows way too many facts about her dead gun slinging husband?
You can download Hot Prairie Nights at
or at amazon

Here’s a little to get you started.

Chapter One

The sight at the end of her gun set Elizabeth Murphy on fire. Eighteen months without sex had her craving the touch of a man. Yet, most didn’t even cause a stir in her blood, but this one sparked a reaction in her libido.

She blinked and stared at the man riding across her land.     What did he have that other men didn’t?

Wide shoulders and with his cowboy hat set low over his eyes, he moved with the gate of the horse as if he were an extension of the animal. The gentle rocking reminding her of…she lowered her rifle. A deep-seated yearning curled in her stomach.

As a woman on a spread by herself, she couldn’t afford to be friendly with strangers. No, she had to protect the ranch and greet everyone with caution.

Standing on the front porch of her cabin, she allowed her gaze to venture to the barn, then onto the corral where two horses stood. She’d brought them in from the fields a few hours ago in anticipation of her trip into town tomorrow. The sun sinking low on the horizon reminded her that she had supper waiting inside.

The increase patter of a horse’s hooves caught her attention and she stared again at the stranger.

“Might as well stop right there,” Lizzie called and cocked her gun. “I’m not much on uninvited guests.”

The man pulled on the reins, drawing the horse to a walk and then to a stop. “I can understand why a woman in your position might feel that way, but I’m a friend of your husband.”

The thought didn’t inspire warmth. Instead, she lifted her gun. “My husband was a gun-slinging gambler. He didn’t have the most reputable friends.”

A slight smirk passed over the man’s lips. He nodded. “Yes, but I knew him as a child back in Oklahoma. Heath Holmes is the name. I’m sure Daniel mentioned me once or twice.”

The name did sound familiar. What had Daniel said about Heath?

She licked her lips and fought the hunger to see this man’s strong muscular body naked and up close. She stared at his mount to gather more information. His black horse had the markings of a thoroughbred. The detail design of his saddle, and the rich quality of the man’s clothes spoke of someone who had money. So why visit her here?

“I recall the name, but Daniel didn’t particularly enjoy his childhood. His mother didn’t provide him with a great upbringing.” Lizzy lowered her gun to her waist but kept the barrel pointed at Heath. Could she trust him?

“True, at times he would have starved, if not for my family, but then with six mouths to feed, what was one more?” Heath swung his leg over the saddle and stepped down from his horse, and turned.

Lizzie’s mouth watered and her palms slipped on the gun. She rested the butt of her rifle on the porch railing for fear of firing it off accidently. Thoughts of what Daniel has said about his youth warred with her desire to get to know Heath better. Her gaze slid down his six foot frame, broad shoulders, full chest, trim waist, and thick thighs. Nothing about him seemed to hint at him not being able to take on any task.

“Right, Daniel did mention his mother’s love of whiskey and how your family was his saving grace.” Lizzy waved him over to the barn. “Why don’t you unsaddle your horse and put him in the corral? There’s a pump next to the water trough if you want to clean up and stay a spell?”

She stepped back as Heath grew closer. The desire racing through her body tempted her with thoughts of jumping off the porch and into his arms. With only a few kisses, he could have her out of her bloomers and be pounding his cock deep inside her within seconds.

A sigh escaped at finally satisfying her lust for sex. Stunned by the needy sound, she rushed on with, “I was just getting ready to set down for supper, if you’d like to join me?”

“Thanks, I’ll just get Sasha settled and be right in.” Heath grinned and led his horse to the barn.

Hope you enjoy and thanks everyone at 69 Shades of Smut for letting me join the group,
Anita Philmar

New Release: Mean Girls

Hi all,

Mean GirlsI’m delighted to announce my new release, a Rubenesque erotic romance novella called Mean Girls. It’s released as part of Ellora’s Cave’s Curve Appeal range, and I hope you enjoy it! Here’s the skinny:

Adele Blackthorne is a big girl, a curvy chick. She knows it, and she’s been picked on all her life because of it. But she’s gotten to the stage where she doesn’t care. She may be Rubenesque, but she’s healthy, too. Much healthier than the mean girls at the leisure center that point and stare and say spiteful things about her. Adele rises above it all, and simply enjoys her secretive glances at the center’s hunky lifeguard, Oliver.

As the bullying of Adele becomes worse, Oliver finds it increasingly difficult not to intervene. He doesn’t want to get into trouble with work, but equally he can’t stand to see Adele treated in such a horrible way. Especially since he doesn’t agree that she’s fat and unattractive. He thinks she’s a seriously sexy woman, and would like to get to know her better. Much better.

And an excerpt:

As usual, Adele Blackthorne felt the weight of gazes on her as she walked from the changing room to the steps to get into the swimming pool. She was used to it by now, and had learned not to react, to just carry on as though she hadn’t noticed people staring and not-so-subtly pointing at her.

With a polite nod to Oliver, the lifeguard, as she passed him, Adele was grateful for his much more favorable reaction. If he thought she resembled a beached whale, he hid it much better than everyone else did. The warmth in his eyes as he nodded back even looked genuine. But she had no illusions, he probably slagged her off the moment he got into the staffroom, or home, talking about the fat woman who went swimming three times a week without fail. But for now, she’d pretend he didn’t. Pretend he thought she was sexy, and wanted to get lost in her abundant curves. God knows she’d like him to.

It was true, she was a big girl and she was most definitely aware of it. Ever since she’d gotten to the age where her excess weight could no longer be called puppy fat, she’d tried to do something about it. Every diet under the sun, ridiculous amounts of exercise… nothing worked. Adele had grown so depressed in her teens that she’d become bulimic. Naturally, she’d lost some weight that way, but she’d also made herself so ill that she’d had to be hospitalized. It had terrified the life out of her, and ever since, she’d resolved that she’d much rather be healthy than skinny.

Which was why she visited her local leisure center three times a week. She used the gym and sauna, and went swimming. And every single time she went, she’d catch someone gawping at her. But because of the years she’d spent—especially at school—being called all the names under the sun, she’d developed an incredibly thick skin. She was happy and healthy—so healthy in fact that she could probably beat all of those skinny bitches at a swimming race. Of course she never offered, never called anyone out on their rudeness and ignorance, but it made her feel better to know that she was fitter and much more polite than them.

Slipping into the fast lane, she settled her goggles carefully into position—she hated getting water in her eyes—then lifted her legs to rest the bottoms of her feet against the end of the pool. Looking at the clock on the wall that counted seconds, she waited until the hand reached the top, then pushed off from the side and launched herself into the lane. It was quiet, so she had this section of the pool to herself. Her arms cut through the water, her legs flapped wildly and she did ten laps without losing any speed. Emerging from the water, she checked the clock again and was pleased to note she’d beaten her previous time.

She was just about to start another ten laps, when she heard voices from the other side of the pool. Voices that clearly forgot how well they carried on water. It was as though they were right next to her.

“God, I’m surprised all the water doesn’t jump out of the pool when she gets in. And the way she swims—she’ll cause a tidal wave one of these days.”

The spiteful words were followed by a trio of sniggers, and Adele gritted her teeth. Part of her wished that she could create a bloody tidal wave, so it would sweep those bitches under water and drown them. The other part of her tsked at the thought. Ideas like that made her just as bad as them, just as unpleasant, just as cowardly.

Because they were cowardly—the way they spoke about her behind her back proved that. If they ever passed her somewhere in the leisure center or its car park, they never said anything, not one word. They’d just scurry away as fast as they could, then titter when they thought she was out of earshot. She hoped that just one time, someone would say something to her face, so she could retaliate, speak up for herself. There was no way she’d start anything—she didn’t want to add confrontational to the list of faults that the mean girls had obviously compiled about her.

Sucking in a deep breath, Adele launched into another ten laps, allowing the chilly water and the exertion of powering through it to burn away her irritation. Because that’s all it was—irritation. She wasn’t angry. Anger was too powerful an emotion, and one that was totally wasted on those ignorant women. She almost felt sorry for them, actually. If they had nothing better to do than to stare at her and slag her off all the time, then they clearly had very dull lives.

The thought cheered her considerably and when she completed her twentieth lap, she lay her forearms on the edge of the pool and hoiked herself up. Her back was pressed against the side, and from here she had a perfect view of the rest of the pool. Tugging her goggles down so they hung around her neck, she had a damn good look at everyone else. The small children and their guardians in the kids’ pool right at the other end of the enormous hall, the old people who swum so slowly as they chatted that she was surprised they stayed afloat, the relentless movement of the man in the medium-speed lane and, of course, the mean girls who were in the same sort of position she was, but at the side of the pool rather than the end. The side which faced the lifeguard station.

Adele narrowed her eyes and watched them—the two waif-like blondes and a brunette—as they chatted and giggled, and it seemed for a change, not about her. They’d clearly changed the subject since their previous spouting of vitriol. Their focus was very firmly on Oliver as he sat on his lofty perch, surveying the pools before him, ready to jump in should anyone get into trouble. She often toyed with the idea of faking a problem, just to get him into the pool and his strong arms around her. However, she knew that although he’d undoubtedly do his duty and help her, he’d never believe such a strong swimmer would need his assistance. Then he’d lose all respect for her, and probably stop hiding his disdain for her so effectively. And the polite nods and smiles she got from him were the only thing—aside from the center’s top-notch facilities—that made the place bearable. She was sure that if the three witches—a nickname she’d secretly come up with for the women—had their way, there would be a sign on the main doors to the building saying ‘No Fat People Allowed.’

Can They Write Enough Songs About Big Butts?

The answer to the question in the title of this blog: No!

I was staring off into space thinking about all the songs about women with bit bottoms. I was doing this instead of writing the book I need to finish, so to derail any guilt I felt, I decided to blog about it! (Writers are sneaky, aren’t we!)

Remember the movie This Is Spinal Tap? It’s a crazy British rock parody, and just hilarious. Their song, Big Bottom, has the naughtiest lyrics:
Big bottom, big bottom
Talk about mud flaps, my girl’s got ’em
Big bottom drive me out of my mind
How could I leave this behind?

Another British band (this time a real one) Queen, sang Fat Bottomed Girls. The chorus:
Fat bottomed girls you make the rocking world go round.

I remember a wedding reception where the groom got up and sang karaoke to his new bride. Sir Mix-A-Lot’s song, Baby Got Back. (Imagine my hubby, Kick, and I sitting next to his folks when this started. Yikes!) Here’s some of the lyrics:
I like big butts and I can not lie
You other brothers can’t deny
That when a girl walks in with an itty bitty waist
And a round thing in your face
You get sprung, wanna pull out your tough
‘Cause you notice that butt was stuffed
Romantic, huh? The best part was, the bride was on the dance floor all alone doing the bootie dance. I thought my FIL would combust!

One of my favorites big-ass songs is Honky Tonk Badonkadonk by Trace Adkins. It was actually after seeing him in concert that I got the idea for Chase and Seduction.
There outta be a law
Get the Sheriff on the phone
Lord have mercy, how’s she even get them britches on
That honky tonk badonkadonk

Down below, (no pun intended!) I’m sharing the scene from Chase and Seduction where Chase is singing his big bottom song and trying to seduce Reno at the same time. Whew, I know I’d go for it! Enjoy!

shirtless wet muscular man in jeans and woman hands, studio shot

Blurb of Chase and Seduction – Book 1 of the Hot Country Series: Country music superstar/actor Chase Tanner has yet to be denied anything–and he’s never wanted anything or anyone more than gorgeous screenplay writer Reno Linden. So when the film they are working on is finally finished, Chase decides to turn up the volume on seducing Reno.

Reno Linden lived a quiet, rural life until she was thrust into the Hollywood scene when her book was adapted to film. Chase Tanner is larger than life, sinfully sexy and hell-bent on getting her into bed. Skittish after a failed wedding engagement, Reno risks the plunge into Chase’s arms, and is surprised that her good girl self can keep up with bad boy Chase.

Though Chase returns to his cowboy roots often, and Reno cherishes the time spent with him on his ranch, the two find their careers pulling them in different directions. Will their attraction survive the glitz and stress of fame?

Excerpt from Chase and Seduction – Book 1 of the Hot Country Series: Reno sensed his presence before he got close.

“She’s got the curves, and I got the nerve, to take her for my own.” Chase sang, coming up behind her.

She started to turn, but he grabbed her around the waist and pressed himself against her ample backside, swaying them both to the music. His chest felt rock-hard against her back, and his big arm pressed up against the bottom of her breast. His hips ground into her butt.

Too many people were staring, nudging each other, and grinning. Breathless from the embarrassment, her head started to spin. Weak woman that she was, she shook with a burst of lust that burned low in her belly. God, how she wanted this man. He was pure temptation and her hands itched to grab his thighs and give him a wicked grinding in return.

She snapped back to reality and stiffened her body against her own response.

He was coming on strong. Strong enough to make her wish she could get her friggin’ moral compass to point another direction, just for one naughty night.

The band’s lead guitarist started a blaring, wailing solo on stage, which drew people’s attention away from her. Chase bent his head and his breath warmed her ear. “My trailer. Ten minutes.” He released her and his booted steps faded as he headed back to the stage.

She nearly fell backward. His trailer. Alone with him. A chill of desire shuddered through her, puckering her nipples into tight points and forcing blood down low to swell her tingling, needy lips. She wanted to lie on his bed and watch him kiss a path down her body, settling between her legs, his cowboy hat brushing her thighs as his tongue flicked…

“Oh no you don’t.” She spoke the words to herself. What was she thinking? If she had a car here, she’d leave the party right now. How else could she avoid temptation?

Beatrix came back with their beer. “Your face is as red as this cup. What did I miss?”

Tracy beamed. “Chase stopped by for a visit.”

“Oooh.” Beatrix moved closer. “What did he say?”

Reno shook her head and took her beer. “Nothing. He was just working the crowd.”

Tracy leaned closer. “Reno, I saw his lips moving. What did he say?”

She shot her a warning look. “He asked why I hang out with such annoying women.”

Beatrix and Tracy laughed. “Did he give you his room number?” Tracy wiggled her eyebrows.

Reno rolled her eyes, anxious to end this conversation. She sipped her beer, looking at the stage where Chase finished the set with some wild gyrations and jumps.

“Thank you.” He tipped his hat to the cheering crowd, and the band took a bow while their sound guy put in a CD.

Chase left the stage and disappeared through the door leading to the next sound stage where the actors’ trailers were housed. Where he’d be waiting for her to join him.

She looked at her friends, desperately needing a distraction to keep her from thinking about him. But they were both grinning.

 “You liiiiike him,” Beatrix sang.

Reno stared down into her foamy beer. Yeah, she did like him. Too much. She could easily fall for him and start dreaming of a happy ever after. But she was a farm-raised, small-town girl. A man like Chase would use her up and stomp on her self-esteem like two thousand pounds of Brahma bull.

Right then she resolved to ignore him, pretend she wasn’t horny for him. She’d convince herself she didn’t want to run after him, pin him to the bed in his trailer, and ride reverse cowgirl on him all night…

What other big backside songs can you think of?

Historical research and giveaway!

Okay, I’ll admit it. I’ve never been big into history, didn’t like it in high school, never been into museums and that kind of thing. But I’ve always loved reading historical novels and once I got published I knew I wanted to write one.

I put it off for a long time, not wanting to dive into the massive research that I knew I would have to do and thought I would hate. Well it turns out I actually loved doing the research, loved reading the books from people who experienced the gold rush in Ketchikan, Alaska, loved going through pictures taken at the time. It turns out I actually do like studying history, just not in the way it was presented to me in school. Getting lost in another time is an amazing experience, and through my newest book, Gold Lust you can do the same without the research part.

Oh, and to celebrate I’m giving away a copy of Gold Lust to anyone who leaves a comment. I’ll stop back tomorrow and pick the winner.

 photo tn_zpse6a92d10.jpg

The 1901 gold rush brings people and excitement to Alaska, and recently widowed Emma Smith is in the middle of it all, ready to make her fortune. She’s definitely not interested in love or lust, but that all changes when she rescues her neighbor James Armstrong from an icy creek and she’s forced to lie naked with him to save his life. She’d been fighting her attraction to the burly mountain man for a long time, but with him so close, touching, skin against skin, she can’t deny it any longer. And soon sex with James is an addiction, something to warm every Alaskan night. Emma is sure a traditional man like James couldn’t accept an independent woman like her permanently. Hot Cop Menage Boxed Set!

You can now get all the books in my bestselling THE BADGE BUNNIES SERIES in a Boxed Set at a fantastic price!

It’s all about women who have a thing for hot and sexy cops. There are five books including two m/f/m ménages and one f/f/m. They’re still available individually in ebook, but they were so wildly popular, I decided to release them in a complete set! It’s available on Amazon, B&N and ARe!

Badge Bunnies Series Volume 1 Boxed Set

Gotta Love a Guy Who Comes with His Own Handcuffs!

Harley Miller has always fantasized about having sex with a cop. So, when hunky Royce Barlowe comes to her rescue after her car breaks down, she can’t resist flirting with him. One thing leads to another and soon she’s kissing him.

Going further than that right there on the side of the road is crazy and impulsive, not to mention reckless, but neither one can help themselves and soon he’s cuffing her hands behind her back and fulfilling her wildest fantasy – which turns out to be hotter than anything she’s ever imagined.

Working the late shift just got a whole lot more fun!

Cilla Garner has it bad for Hayes Prescott and Reed Lockwood, the two hot cops who come into the coffee shop where she works the late shift. When her coworker goes home early and leaves her alone with Denver’s finest, she can’t help but flirt. Of course, if they both end up asking her out, she has no idea how she’ll choose. The idea of having a threesome doesn’t even enter her mind until they hint at it, and then it’s all she can think about.

She has the perfect opportunity to take them up on it when they offer to drive her home after work. What girl wouldn’t be thrilled at the idea of sleeping with two guys who come with their own handcuffs?

If she thought watching her best friend get a spanking was hot, that’s nothing compared to getting one herself!

Capri Faraday hasn’t seen her old college roommate in years, so she’s thrilled to be able to spend her vacation with Aly and her hot, hunky cop husband, Sam. When she gets to Tampa, she sees a side of her friend she’s never seen before – her backside, while Aly is draped over Sam’s knee getting a spanking. Capri is stunned. She’s even more shocked to discover that watching Aly get her bottom warmed turns her on like crazy.

After Aly confesses she likes getting spanked for being a bad girl, Capri talks her friend into doing something naughty just so she can watch Sam redden her derriere again. But when it comes out that Capri was behind the whole thing, she finds herself bare-bottomed and getting spanked alongside her best friend. If she thought watching Aly getting a spanking got her hot and bothered, that’s nothing compared to getting one herself!

The pleasure these two hunks give her should probably be illegal!

Laci Howe has always had a thing for cops, so she’s thrilled when her newspaper editor sends her on a ride-along with two of San Francisco’s finest.

Jase Neilsen and Grant Chapman are so gorgeous, she can’t help but flirt a little as she interviews them. When the two cops confide in her about one of the perks that comes with the being a man in uniform – badge bunnies – she’s intrigued. Things get even more interesting when they tell her in graphic and very sexy detail about their experiences with these cop-loving ladies.

Laci’s so turned on by the time the ride-along ends, she gives into her inner badge bunny and invites Jase and Grant back to her place for a hot night of sex complete with spanking and handcuffs that she won’t soon forget. The pleasure she experiences at the hands of the two men is so far beyond amazing, it should probably be considered illegal. Good thing she’s with two cops, isn’t it?

This hot cop is only too happy to give her private lessons!

Texas State Trooper Blake Jordan can’t afford to get distracted on the job, but he can’t take his eyes off the beautiful woman in his concealed carry handgun class. With soft feminine curves and eyes he just about gets lost in, Trista Durant is enough to make him forget his own name.

Trista’s been drooling over Blake since the moment he walked in the classroom. His broad shoulders, big biceps and sexy voice are enough to almost melt off her panties.

When the hot cop acts completely professional despite the sultry smiles she sends his way, she realizes she’s going to have to give up on getting him in her bed, or do something drastic to make it happen —like failing the hands-on portion of the class so she can get some time alone with him. Blake is only too happy to give Trista private lessons, and soon shows her what real hands-on training is all about.

Who knew shooting a gun could be so much fun? Give a whole new meaning to the term keep your weapon pointed in a safe direction at all times.
