I have a secret passion for dirty booty-shakin’ music. I love the music that my parents and their parents would probably hate, and I adore the music that would make my kids shudder to see me dancing to it. You know which music I mean. The stuff like:
There is nothing like the environment of the club dance floor. Lights flashing, the bass thumping in your chest, and sweaty bodies grinding against each other. It’s an experience I miss now that I have three little ones at home. Clubbin’ is not exactly on the weekend agenda anymore.
But, my favorite thing in the world to do when I’m all alone at home, is dance to this kind of ass shaking beat. I think that EVERYONE should have a personal dance party every now and then. Whether or not you like Hip Hop, Country, Swing, or Square Dancing. It’s a great exercise and it releases tons of endorphins that mimic the same ones released during sex.
For me, the bumping beat reminds me of an erotic romance story. The way the music ebbs and flows encouraging sensual movement inspires me to write passionate strong women who know what they want and reach for it with both hands. I find myself using a lot of music in my stories, and I would love to hear your favorite songs!
I’m sharing my personal list of booty shakin favs. They range from hip hop to R&B to Country, so there is something for everyone! Once you’ve listened to them, drop to the bottom of the post and share your favorite “Shake that A$%” music! SHOW ME WHATCHA WORKING WITH!
So today on your way to change the laundry, or get the mail from the mail box….just let loose!
FIRE OF THE WOLF
Introverted nurse Caroline Trainor’s apartment burns to the ground, and she is rescued by a sexy fireman. Waking up in the hospital, she finds the delicious fireman and his identical twin brother waiting for her.
Devin and Damon Gray claim that they are alpha leaders of a pack of werewolves, and that she is destined to be their mate. Her logical nature resists this unreal situation, but her body craves their every touch. Struggling with unresolved pain from her past and her need for her own identity, she has no desire to be their house wolf—until another wolf pack’s alpha threatens their lives and relationship with a challenge to the death.
Scared to lose the men she has grown to love like she lost her parents, she runs directly into the arms of the lethal alpha challenger, and the brothers must save her before they all wind up dead.
