What Would You Like To Ask These Sexy Men?

Jimmy Thomas

Theo Theodoridis

Brooks Johnson

We will be inviting cover models to guest on 69 Shades of Smut, and ask them to answer interview questions. We have a few questions already, but we’d like your help.

We want to come up with a huge list of questions relating to everything from personal grooming to smutty bedroom kinks, and let the model answer any of the questions they choose.

Here are a few to get you started:

photo shoot

  • What goes through your mind during the photo shoots?
  • Do you have a favorite cover?
  • Do you recall your first shoot?  Were you nervous?
  • How many photos are taken during a typical photo shoot? Out of that number, how many actually pass the muster and are deemed a usable image?
  • Is there a particular outfit or prop that had unexpected consequences?
  • What do you prefer, studio photo sessions or going on location, and why?
  • What’s the most unique photo shoot you can remember?
  • Is there a cover or concept you’d like to portray that you haven’t yet accomplished?
  • Why did you choose the romance genre?
  • Do you ever become aroused while in a photo shoot? It seems to me, with the lack of attire and body part proximity, it might be a given on occasion…
  • Have you ever dated someone you met while on a photo shoot?

  • What genre of books do you read?
  • Do you get the same ridiculous inappropriate questions/comments from people (fans, friends, family, etc) that we erotic romance authors get? You know the questions we’re talking about, things like “Do you do all the sexual stuff your characters do in your books?”… I guess the equivalent for a cover model would be “Do you get to ‘do’ all those models?”

  • As a little boy, what did you want to be when you grew up? A cowboy? An astronaut?
  • Was modeling something you pursued or did someone point you in that direction?
  • What does your family think about your work?
  • Boxers, briefs or commando?
  • What kinds of foods do you eat and how often do you have to exercise?
  • Are you straight or gay?
  • Married, in a relationship?
  • Dom or sub?
  • Have you ever been compared to Fabio?
  • If you wrote an autobiography, what would the title be?
  • What’s an average Saturday night like for you?
  • Describe your perfect date.
  • Sports or reality TV?
  • Shaving or waxing?
  • Any funny stories about being recognized in real life?
  • Where do you see yourself in five years? How about 25 years?

Now it’s your turn! Tell us which cover models you’d like us to invite for a smutty interview, and what questions would you like to ask?

Remember, every comment you leave gives you another chance to win one of 14 ebooks we’re giving away Sunday!

Thank you!

Let Savannah Chase Tempt You

“I know you’re expecting the seductive Savannah Chase to be here and she will be, so don’t worry… I saw her pull up to the office and she should be here at any moment…She’s was a little….. tied up.”

“Makayla Travers, are you spilling all my secrets even before I get here?”

No…Not yet..”

“I must say, that threesome fantasy of yours has made you a bolder woman.”

“I can’t help myself. You can’t tell me there is something wrong with wanting two delectable men bring you pleasure and……well I won’t spoil my own were a darling to write all about me and my fantasy in Unwrap Me.

“It was a pleasure…”

“So tell me, what did you say to the readers about me before I arrived”

“Oh not much, just that you were a little tied up and that’s why you were late. I didn’t tell them about the boy toys that you have running around that mansion of yours..or that they were the ones who were responsible for you being all tied up…..Ooops”

“I think I’ll take it from here Makayla.”

“Sure, I’ve gotta be at work at the Library in half an hour anyways, and then I’ve got some shopping to do. I’m planning something extra special for tonight with me and Josh.”

“Ohhhhh, I’m guessing those new boots that came in yesterday will be part of the evening?”

“Of course they will.”

Hi, guys. Savannah here…So I always find it hard to talk about myself when it comes to telling people a little about me..There is so much to know about me..My official bio goes a little like this.

Savannah writes erotica, and she writes romance. Whether you want sweaty sex or sweet romance, she’s written just the thing for you.

Savannah Chase started putting pen to paper as a young schoolgirl. Music inspired her to write lyrics, which eventually turned into stories. Her stories have gotten better, longer and so much more erotic as the years passed. She’s a hopeless romantic who believes that everyone has a soul mate. Savannah is a member of the Romance Writers of America, Toronto Romance Writers, and Erotic Authors Association. She’s currently published with multiple houses, and has won numerous awards for her books. Her current residence is in Canada.

That’s a little insight into who I am. I write erotic romance and sweet romance, but most of my work is in the erotic romance genre. Why? I’m very passionate about it. I love writing stories that are not only romantic but sensual, sexy and make your toes curl. Stories that make you fall in love with the characters, and make you want to know them or be them.

What a lot of you might be surprised to find out is that all my life I’ve always been very shy and the last thing I ever though about is that I’d become an author..Yes me..The one who writes about menage and sexy construction workers, voyeurism, licking whipped cream off yummy men and everything else…My writing is my own way to express not only myself, but my creativity. I honestly can’t imagine my life without it.

People always ask me where I get ideas from and what inspires me. The world, music, friends and the weirdest little things. I’m one of those people whose mind never shuts off when it comes to my books. I’m always thinking and plotting new ideas. I laugh that I need a clone of me to keep up with everything I’ve got in my head.

I’m truly happy when I write and this is my dream job, and truly my passion. I’ve published ten books so far and look forward to being able to bring you more stories and characters that you can fall in love with.

Oh and in case you are wondering about Makayla’s revealing information…well I shall keep you wondering..A lady never tells all her dirty little secrets. I will say one thing..I tend to give you a deeper peek into who I am with the pictures I post.

stay naughty,

Meet Dawne Prochilo… writer and author extraordinaire

Where to begin when talking about myself? This used to come easy for me… like when I was in college ten years ago and in my psychology class we had to write our own obituary. Mine, as memory recalls, stated I was a best selling author, mother of three, wife and daughter. So far I’m right on with my future.

Mother of three, add in a new grandson, a wife, a daughter and author. The only word missing is the best-selling. Now granted, I do have 12 books out with four more under contract and oodles of WIP’s on paper, in the computer and in my head… and I do have one book that is out-selling all the others, but what else can I add to that obituary now that I didn’t know about then?

I was a contributing writer to USA Today on the Fall of 2011, i write reviews for adult toys, I have hundreds of online articles about sex, marriage and relationship advice floating the Internet waves and I do a weekly radio segment (in which the DJs call me Dirty Dawne) and I’m the promotions director for a publisher.

If anyone had told me my future and said I would be adding the above mentioned categories and job tasks to a resume, I would have laughed, chuckled and snorted a ‘yeah right’. But guess what? I have accomplished those tasks and I have many more years ahead of me in this industry.

On my writing resume I have erotic romance author, romance author, web content writer and a slew of other titles… so what makes me so prolific with my writing abilities and styles? I love to challenge myself, my mind and my creativity. To say I am proud of my career is an understatement. I am quite pleased with what I have fulfilled and contributed to the writing world. Granted, I am not a JK Rowling or Stephenie Meyer… I am Dawne Prochilo. And there’s nothing wrong with that. Every writer started somewhere. Every author got rejected. Every author is living their dream. I am no exception.

Make Mine Pink

Yes I know it is the most feminine color known on the face of the planet. There was a time when real men wouldn’t be caught in pink, but I think it’s sexy. Go ahead, you can stare. He looks great in that color. 🙂

At first I rebelled against the color, only had a few items in my wardrobe that were, rose or carnation or shell pink. So why the sudden obsession?

Four men in the house.

In order to establish some sort of “Hey! That’s MINE!” I started with my blog. Since the males in my home frown on pink walls, I indulged my inner romantic and went pink. Anyone who knows me  tell me the site is definitely me. Cool.

Then I picked socks. Love socks, but that’s a whole ‘nother blog, then the mini-top my hubby got me for Valentine’s Day a few years back. (A mini-top is a netbook or mini laptop) The gameboy I received for my birthday? Pink. The case for my IPhone. Well multicolored, but there’s pink in it. Business cards? Pink. Banner? Pink. Well I guess you get the idea.

So how does all that translate into being a romance writer? It doesn’t it just gives you a glimpse into me, a girlie-girl who loves chocolate, shoes, jewelry and all things pink…Except cotton candy. I prefer the blue.

Oh let’s see, what else. I write romance and am darn proud to be a romance author, smut writer or whatever else one wants to call it. I’m living my dream. Most recently I joined the Evernight Family and I can’t wait to share Zach and Trisha’s story with the world. Until that story releases, check out some of my other titles.

Until next time Indulge Your Inner Romantic

Don’t forget to leave a comment for a chance to win one of the fourteen books up for grabs.

Meet Dita Parker

First things first, please join me in wishing the warmest of birthdays to my partner in smut, Em Petrova! Happy Birthday, Em, you don’t look a day over absolutely fabulous!! Still drunk on your hunk-junk, btw. That was brilliant.

So. I feel like such a rookie in this crowd, but you don’t have to go gently on me, I promise I can take a pounding. But when I looked at those backlists and imagined the giveaways we’d be doing, I realized this was going to get really embarrassing really fast.

It’s Memorial Day weekend in the States, so allow me to roam down memory lane a bit. I published my first erotic romance, Alex Rising, in the spring of 2010. It was the first Romantica I had ever submitted anywhere, so you bet I was absolutely blown away when Ellora’s Cave picked it up pronto. But the Universe likes her balance. My career victory coincided with personal catastrophe. I lost two loved ones that very same year. It messed me up. It messed up my writing. My next submission tanked and for the longest time I feared I had lost that loving feeling you need to write romance, as well. But I never stopped writing. I couldn’t.

The best way to get over rejection, or brace yourself for it, is to move on to the next book. That’s what I did, so it didn’t sting as badly as I thought it would. I was already waist-deep in my next manuscript and jotting down ideas for other stories. I had no time to dwell on the past. The people I lost are gone forever. I hurt and I long, but life goes on, and if there’s one thing that prompted me to write romance in the first place is how life-affirming love and lust are.

Love makes the world go round. All you need is love. Love lifts us up where we belong. Everything I do (I do it for you), love. I really do. Silly love songs. Sappy movies. Romance novels. Why do we love them so much? Because no matter what, we still believe. What else is there worth fighting for and believing in? Your dreams and aspirations.

I’d like to sign off by flaunting fresh-off-the-press cover art for my next release, a paranormal erotic romance titled Perpetual Pleasure. The pocket Venus is Lucie, the best-kept secret in Savannah. Not born yesterday, that one. In 1751, to be exact. That girl needed to let her hair down. As you can see, the hair has come down. Who is he? Swing by June 8th! Let’s interrogate him a bit, see how he likes that. That man takes no bull from anyone, and I developed a bit of a crush on him while writing the story. *sigh* You’ll see.

I live at Four Seasons, aka Scandinavia, where it’s the most magical time of the year, the threshold between spring and summer. When I’m not making mischief with the 69ers, I blog at Dita’s Den and some of you may have come across my Frisky Friday posts. My latest is all about physical and emotional self-love and the health benefits of masturbation. No, I don’t shy away from any topic related to sex and sexuality. So there.

Leave a comment after the beep and win one of fourteen red-hot reads given away by our authors! Every comment you leave before midnight PST, June 2 equals an entry into the contest. If your name is chosen, you’ll get your choice of an ebook from from one author’s book list! BEEP.

A Cherry a Day…Keeps Mia Astray!

Alright, you got me.  A cherry a day doesn’t really keep me astray.  I do that all on my own.  But, hey, I love the phrase.  So what’s a girl to do?

First off, I want to say that I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of 69 Shades of Smut with all these über talented authors.  Smutting people up sounds like an excellent mission so here I am, preparing to take on the vanilla world with thirteen deliciously naughty people.  I’m a very lucky woman.

You might be asking, Who is that Mia Ashlinn woman?   Well…

  • I am a Tennessee girl, and I’m disgustingly proud of that fact.  As a native Tennessean, my blood does run orange.  “Go Vols” orange to be precise.  The song, Rocky Top, still has the power to get my heart pumping, my hands clapping, and my toes tapping.  I can sing it word for word, backward and forward, upside down and inside out.  Okay, I might be exaggerating a bit but you get the idea.
  • I am a sappy, hopeless romantic.  Just ask my husband.
  • I am a mother of one imaginative, artistic little girl who fills my life with vibrant colors—literally and figuratively.  She is an aspiring writer and illustrator.  Did I mention she hasn’t graduated from elementary school yet?
  • I am a high strung, Type A personality with a flair for the dramatic.  Or, if you would prefer, you can shorten that to a drama queen. (If the crown fits, wear it.)
  • I am an obsessive freak when it comes to organizing things.  I have a label-maker, and I know how to use it.  But I cannot keep my house spic-and-span to save my life.
  • I am an avid reader and a newbie writer.
  • I am a creative cook, but I tend to burn the kitchen down on a monthly basis.  So baking is more my style…and quite a bit safer!
  • I am a wordy wench.  As I am sure, you are rapidly figuring out.

You might also be asking, What exactly does this Mia person write?  Well, I write about love.  It is as simple as that.  Only it isn’t really simple.  But, then again, nothing in life is.  I write about…

  • People who are human.  They are as real as they are relatable.  My characters have flaws, and they have feelings.  They have strengths, and they have weaknesses.  They don’t always say the right thing or do the right thing.  They experience anger, hurt, and embarrassment.  Just as, they experience joy and laughter.  It is all a part of who and what they are.
  • Love that is messy.  It is imperfect, and it is complicated.  And, damn it, sometimes love is just plain hard.  People rarely meet, fall in love, and live happily ever after.  It sounds good, but it just doesn’t seem to happen that way.  There are bumps in the road, but true love can withstand anything.  It can weather the storm or, in some cases, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis.  But, in the aftermath, love is still standing strong.  That is the kind of love I hold sacred.  That is the kind of love I want to experience in a story, whether I am writing it or reading it.
  • Sex.  Sex.  And did I mention sex?  The characters crave hot and kinky sex and, sometimes, they hunger for dirty and gritty sex.  Other times, they want it hard and fast or slow and sweet.  I give them what they want…and they give me what I want – scorching love scenes that leave my blood pumping, my heart pounding, and my skin sweating.
  • Oh…and I write about men who are excellent at sharing – often each other and always their women.

So that long-winded blog is me in a nutshell.  My book, Destined to be Three, is available now at Siren Bookstrand.  It is the first book in the Sweet Serenity series which is published by Siren.  The second book, Shannon’s Fairy-tale Foursome, is scheduled to release on Friday, July 13th (dum-da-dum), and I am working on the third installment which is tentatively titled, Three to Fly.

If you want to get to know me better or learn about my books, check out my website at, my Siren Author Page, or my personal blog , I’ve Got 69 Problems But A Kink Ain’t One.  Feel free to contact me via email at, friend me on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter.  I love to chat!

Don’t forget, leave a comment for your chance to win one of fourteen books being given away by our authors. If your name is chosen, you’ll get your choice of an ebook from one author’s book list. Every comment you leave from now through midnight, PST, June 2 is another entry into the contest, so please come back again. Thank you!

Drea Becraft is in the hizouse!

Hey everyone it’s Drea Becraft here for your viewing pleasure…Okay maybe not viewing since I am not about to post nekkid pictures of myself. Trust me no one wants to see that lol.

I honestly have no freaking clue what to write about for this thing. To tell you the truth I have been on a sort of writing/blogging/computer hiatus for the past few months due to having no time. (If there ever comes a cloning program I am so going to stand at the beginning of that line because I could really use it.) This week is the last week of school for my girls, I have three Novalee (8), Katelynn (5), and Scarlett (3 {who is autistic}), so for the past three months it has been appointment, school drop off and pick-up, and well every thing else a full time parent has to deal with.

My hopes are that once my girls are out of school, which cuts down my drive and car time TONS, and once Lori Foster’s Reader Author Get Together is over that I will get back into the grove of things and maybe get a few books out before the end of the year. Maybe then I will feel less like a slacker lol.

I can’t wait for next weekend which is the RAGT! Not only do I get a three day vaca from mommy duties but I also get to see all my friends and just hang out and have fun. I’ve bought some really interesting promo to carry around with me and hand out. But I think what I am SO looking forward to is meeting some of my favorite authors. (I write books yes but I am also a avid reader and reviewer,)

I ordered these ducks (only about 50) to carry around and give away as promo while I am there. So if you’re going you totally need to find me early so that I can give you a vamp duck and a hug. Yeah I am a hugger so sue me lol.

I’m so happy I was given the chance to join such a talented group of authors and I can’t wait to see what’s in store in the future for all of us.

Don’t forget to comment below and you could win an opportunity to win a book off of my backlist…or one off of the other wonderful authors backlist as well. Can’t go wrong with a free book!

Forcing myself out of the dark

Hi, It’s me… Julia.

So, I’m late to the party, per usual.  See the problem is I only have so many hours in the day and I’m one of those annoying people who need sleep… but anyway, I’m sorry.

I want to send a big shout out to my fellow bloggers who got this blog up and running and did all of the hard work that goes into making something like this a success. Thanks you guys for carrying me! I promise, I’ll return the favor.

Since I’m late, I’m going to copy what the group did on the kick off blog post and tell you some random facts about me:

I am the worst social networker ever. I want to be good, but my problem is that I get sucked into places like Twitter, Facebook, and blogs. I’m like an addict, once I start talking, I can’t stop and the next thing I know 5 hours will disappear and I’ll have done nothing.  There is a direct correlation between how jam-packed my schedule is and how much I’m online.

I’m a total gadget/ computer geek and must have the newest version of everything as soon as it comes out.  I tried to tell my husband that it’s better than having a wife that loves diamonds. His response- but you don’t have to buy new diamonds every year.

For a writer, I pretty much suck at spelling.  Not good.

I just got a new puppy and everyday since have wonder what possessed me to impulsively stop at an animal shelter.  But seriously, she’s super adorable… see look…

And finally, I just had a new book released from Ellora’s Cave called The Real Mason.  I was in the mood to write a little BDSM and Mason and Anna really sucked me in with their dilemma.  See, Mason is about to break up with Anna because he’s been hiding the fact that he’s a Dom.  Oh, and it has the most awesome cover ever.  See look…

If you’re interested in checking it out you can find it at Ellora’s Cave.

Thanks for spending some time with me today, have a great day!

Sky Robinson

Yeah! It’s my turn! I’m Sky Robinson and I write smutty romance.

In my books you’ll see that I have a thing for very alpha, very strong, and very smart men, and of course the women tough enough to tame them.  I like to dabble in different areas of erotic romance. Bermuda Triangle has a very sexy m/m/f ménage, Double Dare has plenty of exhibitionism and voyeurism, and Going All In is filled with one-on-one sweaty, hot, Vegas-style fun. What can I say? I get bored easily and like to play with different topics.

A little about me personally. I started off working as a lifeguard, then a cocktail waitress, Forest Service Aid, and finally a teacher. I taught special education until I decided to stay home with my first little guy and quickly learned that being a stay at home mom was not for wimps. I took up writing again, needing a break from Elmo and Barney and cleaning the house. Did I mention I hate to clean?

Now most of my time is spent chauffeuring kids, working in my garden, making wine, and of course drinking it. I’m an excellent cook, I love to bake, and am a runner…but only so I can eat more of the good stuff I make without the guilt. I’m doing a half-marathon in two weeks that will either kill me or make me stronger. Right now it’s looking like the kill me option is more likely as I limp around the house and feel like my toenails are going to fall off. Sexy, I know. Whose brilliant idea was this anyway?

And because I’ve had too little sleep and run out of intelligent thought for the night I’m adding some facts about me that will hopefully be interesting to you all.

  1. My most embarrassing moment was being caught skinny-dipping in a hotel pool. (Who knew they had cameras to watch the pool afterhours?)
  2. I know how to fly an airplane (and have never crashed one).
  3. I worked as a cocktail waitress in a casino to pay my way through college.
  4. I love to ride motorcycle. Not behind a man, I like to ride my own.
  5. I’ve never been to jail (yet).

You can check out my books and more about me at

Don’t forget, leave a comment for your chance to win one of fourteen books being given away by our authors. If your name is chosen, you’ll get your choice of an ebook from one author’s book list. Every comment you leave from now through midnight, PST, June 2 is another entry into the contest, so please come back again. Thank you
